It results from a combination of inadequate exercise and the indulgence in highly processed and calorie rich food items that are not only damaging to health but also costs a lot of money. People nowadays spend most of their waking hours in front of the television set and they hardly get any exercise. The fast foods available today make people crave for more food and this eventually leads to obesity, increased chances of heart diseases and other diseases that are highly fatal.

Different modern life style patterns have different consequences on our health. The lifestyle pattern that leads to high blood pressure and disorders of the arteries is sedentary. This is highly dangerous as it leads to various complications like stroke, high blood sugar levels, coronary diseases, heart attack and other cardiac diseases. Similarly, the other diseases include diabetes and other cardio vascular diseases, osteoporosis, kidney diseases, cancers and other types of degenerative diseases. The consumption of junk food, fast food items and lack of physical activity weakens the heart muscles leading to heart attacks and strokes.

People in their desire to eat fast and delicious, tend to eat a lot of junk foods that are not only highly calorie poor but also low in nutritional value. Lack of physical activity, regular smoking and alcohol intake have increased the chances of heart diseases and other diseases. There are many different modern lifestyle patterns that can lead to unhealthy food habits. A healthy diet and healthy lifestyle helps in maintaining a healthy body weight and improves overall health.

Most of the population in developed countries lives in a highly technological, fast pace and high income group and suffers from various fatal diseases. Eating habits and excessive consumption of junk foods have resulted in several kinds of heart diseases. The main problem with junk foods is that it does not provide sufficient energy and nutrients for the body to work effectively and reduce physical stress and pressure. People in their search for an answer to their prayers resort to junk foods and fall prey to several fatal diseases which can be avoided with some healthy changes in their modern life style patterns.

The solution to this problem can be either changing your lifestyle or choosing the right medicine. People usually choose the solution to cure their ailments rather than changing their modern life style which is responsible for most of these deadly diseases.
